Motivation Towards Higher Education

I was delighted to be asked by Mrs Pauline Baines of the Aimhigher Southend Partnership in conjunction with Nicola Wood, the University Education Outreach Officer, to give a motivational presentation to parents of aspiring Higher Education students at The University of Essex Southend Campus.

It seems my 40 minute parent "stress busting" presentation aimed at showing parents how they can support their budding under-graduates in making the decision to "go for it", and also in the stressful period leading up to and during their major exams, was well received.

I was delighted to receive a number of follow up enquiries on how I might help them bring focus on a 1-2-1 basis with their teenagers who simply didn't know which way to turn.
